Here is a list of services provided by Yankton County EMS with current rates.

ALS: Advanced Life Support; this includes the addition of cardiac monitoring, IV administration, and/or medications in addition to basic care.
BLS: Basic Life Support: Includes basic care such as splinting, bleeding control and vitals signs with no advanced care services administered.
Transport: Means the patient was placed in the ambulance and was moved from the scene to a specific destination (hospital, nursing home, etc)

ALS-1 Emergency	Advanced care given (EKG, IV, medication, etc), lights and sirens used for response or transport	$ 1,050.00
ALS-2 Emergency	Specific advanced care given (intubation, multiple medications, defibrillation, etc)	$ 1,417.00
ALS Specialty Care Transport	Specialist accompanying ambulance crew (RN, RT, etc)	$ 1,837.50
ALS Intercept	Rendezvous with another community ambulance for advanced patient care to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital	$    262.50
BLS Treat, No Transport	Basic treatment without transporting the patient	$    300.00
BLS Non-Emergency	Basic treatment, typically no lights or sirens used	$    840.00
BLS Emergency	Basic treatment, lights or sirens used for response or transport	$    840.00
Lift Assist	Assist patient who is unable to get themselves up, no transport	$      75.00
Non-Medical Transport	Transport without need for medical care	$    225.00
Airplane Flight Crew Transport	Transport medical airplane crew from the airport to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital	$    315.00
Public Standby- Single Provider	Provide one ambulance personnel for event standby (sports, races, etc)	$ 50.00 / hour
Public Standby- Two providers	Provide two ambulance personnel and an ambulance for event standby (sports, races, etc)	$ 100.00 / hour
